Hey folks. This is an EXCELLENT cover of the Beatles' song "With a Little Help From My Friends" by the wonderful Joe Cocker. The blues and rock musician is famous for his covers, particularly of the Beatles' music. Wikipedia describes his version of the song as "a radical re-establishment of the original" and that is accurate to the t. Cocker's gritty voice and singing style do the song justice. It isn't easy outdoing one of the most talented and beloved bands of all time, but with the help of a few back up singers, an organ, some drums, and Jimmy Page on guitar, I'd say Cocker comes damn close. It's incredibly soulful and moves me in a way the original just doesn't, reminding me why I love rock music so much. Enjoy!
