Comments: Happy Tuesday! I'm really excited to be bringing these songs to you. I'm sure that you've heard of Carrie Underwood. I wanted to bring some of her older songs that were not singles, but still excellent. This first one is one of my favourite songs of hers from her album Some Hearts (her first release after winning American Idol). It's one of the most beautiful and accurate songs about love that I have ever heard. Carrie definitely has some power behind her voice which lacks in some current pop artists that will not be mentioned here and this is one song that definitely shows the delicacy she has in her high notes and the power she can push out towards the end of the song.

Comments: This second song is another one of her "rock out" songs from her third album Play On. It's an upbeat, break up, forget you kind of song and something that Carrie does well. I like to see her own the stage as she does in this performance. Not to mention that fabulous addition of Keith Urban on banjo and Brad Paisley on guitar make it all the better. Also, check out "Inside Your Heaven" if you haven't heard it yet. It's beautiful! Happy listening!
