Comments: Good morning and happy Monday, everyone! Let's start the week off right with some free music! This song is a remix of the song "Lies" by pop group Marina and the Diamonds, who were recently popular from the song "Primadonna Girl." The remixing artist here is Zeds Dead, who I first heard of waaay back when their remix of the Blue Foundation song "Eyes on Fire" was tearing up the internet. I can see the similarities between the two mixes -- Zeds Dead seems to really like putting some massive synth and huge bass behind compelling vocals. I think this is a more mature and complex remix, though -- the instrumentation here is much more intricate with lots of attention payed to the percussion both in and out of the bridge and all the way through the drops.
