Comments: (This entry is going up early, as I missed Wednesday and I will be exceptionally busy tomorrow. I think this track is worth it, though.) Hello, everyone, and happy Halloween for those of you who celebrate it! Holiday or no, strap yourselves in, because today's song is amazing. Seriously, it's been a very, very long time since I've been dancing in my chair at a song. I'm hoping just as hard as I can that this song ends up getting radio play, because it deserves to be sitting at the top of the charts. I can't say enough good things about this track. It's got a fantastic beat that's closer to house than dubstep, It's got just enough vocals to weave the song together. It's got a bridge that blows me away. Knife Party has not just scored, but knocked this one out of the park. Give this song a listen, and you won't be sorry. Don't forget to like us on Facebook!

Comments: Good morning everyone! Today I've got a leaked track from Knife Party's upcoming album. Giving credit where credit is due, I out about it via Facebook on this site. This track is definitely different than the Knife Party I'm used to, but I have to say that I'm really enjoying it so far. It's much lighter and less aggressive than most KP tracks, and the vocals are really the driving force behind this song. It feels much more electro and much less dub to me, but that's okay! All in all I think it's a great song, and I'm really looking forward to the upcoming album. Give it a listen, and don't forget to like us on Facebook!

Comments: Hello wonderful readers! I hadn't originally intended to do two entries in a row of free music, but I discovered this song yesterday and absolutely couldn't let this opportunity pass. I've been a fan of Knife Party for awhile now, both their studio work and their live sets. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've put their Ultra 2013 set on and gotten a solid hour of work done. With that in mind, I was ecstatic to hear that their newest song is out and available download from the Knife Party website for a limited time. It's an excellent track, with some really amazing drops and some fade effects that remind me of trance for some reason. It's got Knife Party's signature aggressive bass and beats but feels like "LRAD" in that it's not as aggressive of a track as some of their other songs like "Destroy Them with Lasers" or "Power Glove." Either way, I absolutely love it. Give it a listen and download it while you can! Don't forget to like us on Facebook!

Stuck In My Skull 491 -- "Bonfire"

Comments: Good morning, everyone! After I realized a few days ago that I hadn't written about this song yet, I knew I had to. This song gets stuck in my head so regularly that I was under the impression I had blogged about it long ago. Seriously, this song pops into my head several times a week, and it's persistent as all get out. Knife Party's combination of reggae-style vocals and dubstep beats sounds weird for about a half of a second, then is the most natural thing ever. It's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend giving this song a listen.

Stuck In My Skull 489 -- "Save the World (Knife Party Remix)"

Written By Christopher Audiophile on Friday, January 31, 2014 | 1/31/2014 06:55:00 AM

Song: "Save the World (Knife Party Remix)" || Artist: Swedish House Mafia || Remixing Artist: Knife Party || http://youtu.be/Gb4Tmpu0iXQ ||
Comments: Good morning, everyone, and happy Friday! Today I thought I'd share with you a remix that was bouncing around in my head. Honestly, I've had the weirdest things stuck in my head this week. I had "Brand New Day" (Entry 196) from the soundtrack of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog stuck in my head for nearly an entire day, then went on a Knife Party kick with first "Bonfire" (which I thought I'd written about already) and then woke up with this. The two Knife Party songs both appear in their Ultra Music Festival 2013 set; Given the number of times I've listened to that, it's hardly surprising that I get songs like this stuck in my head.
Moving on, this song. I posted about the original track back in Entry 150 and really enjoy the unremixed version as well. The remix is a lot less mellow and has a much better dance beat, but the tempo changes stop it short of being a really danceable song. Despite this, it's an excellent remix. It flows seamlessly with the original beat and vocals but manages to spin it into an excellent dubstep tune. It's ridiculously popular, and for good reason: Knife Party knows how to make a track. This is hardly their only work with Swedish House Mafia either -- "Antidote" (Entry 136) was amazing, though my entry hardly did it justice. Take a listen, and enjoy the weekend!

Stuck In My Skull 454 -- "Power Glove"

Comments: Good morning everyone, and sorry for the lateness of this post. Today's song is breaking the metal kick I've been on this week before you all get sick of it. That insane dubstep duo Knife Party has this song on their latest EP, and I love it. I think its intro is spectacular, and roughly the first minute would definitely be my intro for a radio show. Aside from the sheer geekiness of the title (referencing a notorious peripheral for the venerable Nintendo Entertainment System), this song feels as though Knife Party is branching out. It still contains their hallmark aggressive synth lines, but the beat feels like a far cry from a traditional dubstep rejection of the classic 4/4 time with emphasized every other beat. It's definitely 4/4, but it doesn't necessarily feel like this track comes off with nearly as much dubstep punch as most of their tracks. Regardless, I love it. I first heard it as the opening to their Ultra Music Festival set, in which this song is used to mind-blowing effect. Basically, this song is awesome, and you should definitely listen. Enjoy the rest of the week, and have a great weekend!

Stuck In My Skull 444 -- "LRAD"

Comments: Good morning and happy Monday, everyone! Happy Monday? It is for me, and it will be for you too when you listen to this track. It is incredible. Knife Party is a group generally known for their dubstep hits, but they're flexing their musical muscles with this single from their latest EP, bringing much more of a house vibe and leaving the wub-wub almost completely behind. I love it. I can't get enough of this track. The drops are deceptive and catchy, the beats are beautiful, and the melody is masterfully crafted. Ladies and gentlemen, this is EDM. Enjoy!

Stuck In My Skull 379 -- "Destroy Them With Lazers"

Comments: Hey guys, sorry about the scarcity of posts from me the last few days, and the fact that this is going up late. This song is a dubstep track from Knife Party's EP "100% No Modern Talking," the rest of which can be found and downloaded here. If you're not a fan of dubstep, this might not be the track for you, but I encourage you to give it a try anyway. I've found that this track along with the rest of the EP makes for a great soundtrack for working out. Except for maybe "Internet Friends," which I laugh at so hard that I can't take it seriously. (If you go listen to that one, slight language warning on the lyrics.) I got this EP for free awhile back, and I've enjoyed it ever sence. It's not 'pretty' dubstep in the sense of some of the Skrillex trakcs like Summit, or the more subtle tracks that Lindsey Stirling uses, but regardless, I'm a fan. I like the way it builds an entire track from one sound -- I think it's really creative, and flows beautifully. Enjoy the track, and if you do, download it!

Entry 136-- "Antidote"

Comments: Sorry for the late post, folks, but it's better late than never, right? For your viewing and listening pleasure, I present to you a collaboration between SHM and Knife Party, and I suspect some serious drugs. It's an excellent song, though, and I highly recommend you take a listen.
