Comments: Happy Tuesday!  I'm really excited to be bringing these songs to you. I'm sure that you've heard of Carrie Underwood.  I wanted to bring some of her older songs that were not singles, but still excellent. This first one is one of my favourite songs of hers from her album Some Hearts (her first release after winning American Idol). It's one of the most beautiful and accurate songs about love that I have ever heard. Carrie definitely has some power behind her voice which lacks in some current pop artists that will not be mentioned here and this is one song that definitely shows the delicacy she has in her high notes and the power she can push out towards the end of the song.

Comments: This second song is another one of her "rock out" songs from her third album Play On. It's an upbeat, break up, forget you kind of song and something that Carrie does well.  I like to see her own the stage as she does in this performance. Not to mention that fabulous addition of Keith Urban on banjo and Brad Paisley on guitar make it all the better. Also, check out "Inside Your Heaven" if you  haven't heard it yet. Comments: Hey everyone! It's Miriah bringing back some country for the week.  I heard this song recently on the radio and I have to say it is excellent. Ms. Underwood has produced yet another song that I have a feeling is going to rise pretty high on the charts. It's got the same musical feel as "Good Girl" her last hit, but the message of this particular song is much more intense.  It reminds me of some older country songs with a similar plot line (see "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia", Reba McEntire).  Anyhow, this is another great song, and I thoroughly approve of the excess amounts of guitarists in the performance.  (Small side note: I like to be able to post a live performance and feel confident that the song still sounds good.)  Enjoy!

Comments: Hey guys, it's Miriah with some fresh country to round out the week.  This song is the latest release from Carrie Underwood.  And this particular song doesn't have that country twang to it like some of the others she has released.  It's very upbeat and I like what she did with the video.  There's the typical black vs white, but there's also the mirror clips and the rose dripping black.  Anyhow, if you like this version of Carrie consider also listening to Cowboy Casanova.  Enjoy!
